This item is entirely handmade. The leather is carefully selected and cut. The edges are bevelled (curved) and burnished (sealed) to create smooth protected edges.
Materials:
Vegetable tanned leather is the natural process of tanning leather which has been used for thousands of years. Plant matter such as tree bark is used to tan the leather, it’s a slow process which takes months to finish. The result is beautiful leather with natural texture and markings. With use the leather item will develop a patina unique to the owner.
